Welcome to the autumn UCAS Media Education Sales newsletter; we hope you had a smooth Confirmation and Clearing.
Clearing was certainly the busiest yet for us with 12 million page impressions on our website on A level results day compared to 4 million the previous year. If you have places for autumn or January starts and are looking for recruitment ideas, you can still contact 2011 unplaced applicants. Please contact us for a campaign quote.
September to December is a busy time for UCAS Media in facilitating marketing campaigns to a pre-applicant audience on behalf of universities and colleges. Make sure your institution is not left out by contacting us now to plan your campaign. There are currently 90,000 pre-applicants on our database, collected via the UCAS Card scheme. The database is made up of year 12/13 students who are still deciding on what to apply for and where to apply.
For 2011 entry Pre Applicant Data our average open rate for emails was 29.93%
Around 50% of applicants cite UCAS publications as a valuable source of information that they have used when doing research into going to university (source: UCAS customer satisfaction survey). Advertising in a UCAS publication enables you to reach an audience of students and parents at the critical decision-making time, ensuring your institution and brand are front of mind. Bookings for 2013 are now open.
UCAS produces a range of titles and publication styles from detailed careers guides to posters, such as the big map. As well as large print runs, our on-line book store and regular mailings to schools, UCAS hosts PDFs of all free guides on the website maximising your adverts' reach.
